What are some of your hobbies/interests?
What I enjoy most is aviation and sailing. If I could mashup both like I do with my music that would be amazing! With my ASA and PPL Certificates, there is no place that I cannot go. Oh and Fortnite.
Why did you become a DJ?
How much time do you have? LOL! To sum it up, it's been over 30 years since I started playing music. With that in mind I was influenced by my oldest brother who DJ'd in NYC and New Jersey clubs.
What’s important to you about working at Sight & Sound Events?
Personally I don't call it work. I see it more as a collaboration with Jodi, Pat and the rest of the crew. Remember, if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
What’s your favorite song to play at a wedding and why?
Old-school is my playground. With some classics, I WILL get your body to the dance floor! I have DJ'd for just about all ages. I read the room and really its all about the jump off.
What general advice would you give a couple preparing for their wedding?
They are here because they want the best with no worries. You are in good hands, everything will be okay so go ahead, let go, and enjoy your special day. In the end, it's all smiles!!
What should every couple know before meeting with their wedding DJ?
Knowing that they made the right choice. Every detail will be handled with care. The night awaits you!
What has been your most memorable event moment thus far?
I have so many! One that comes to mind is a club style party, approximately 600 people, mostly Chicagoan’s and WOW did we rock that party! I'd show you the testimonial but then I'd have to kill you. It was and epic party and hands down the best testimonial ever!
Describe your DJ style?
I keep it simple. I have a signature style that is unique and I am well skilled at reading the crowd and giving them exactly what they want.
How do you know when you’re doing a good job?:
That's easy. Read the crowd, pack the dance floor!!
How would others describe you?
Energetic, detail oriented, talented, fun, upbeat, kind, giving, loyal and dedicated.
